Would you consider a yearly game a rivalry after 4 years?

I wouldn't.

What makes a rivalry though? Location and # of games played right? That's the core makeup anyways, IMO. Same (or neighboring) state and been played for as long as anyone can remember.

Next question: Would you consider two teams that have played each other 118 times no longer a rivalry after 4 years of not playing each other?

Only if you're the power bottom in the series.

I certainly never considered South Carolina a rivalry. They were just a yearly sex toy.

I mean, even if we stopped playing Clemson I don't think I could stop hating them. I could pretend to, sure.

Go figure.

Aggies like to strangle Cocks with great enthusiasm, wouldn't be surprised if his neck is a little sore.

A forced rivalry with an historically inferior South Carolina program in both football and basketball? Check.

Football program a dumpster fire this past year but still better than South Carolina? Check.

A winning record all-time vs. South Carolina? Check.

Not playing a century old rival the last 4 years and now we're stuck with South Carolina? Yep.

Appears you are wanting Aggie to accept your invitation. Denied
