Last season, Vols would have lost to Clemson, Miami, Syracuse, UVA, NC State, maybe Duke with Daniel Jones, Va Tech.. Ga Tech? Good chance Vols finish in the bottom half of the ACC last season. I don't think FSU will be down forever. UNC idk. Wake Forest, Louisville.. they all seem on the same playing field as the Vols. That's just me.

In your opinion, who do the Vols beat in the ACC last year if they had Clemsons schedule? I am in NO WAY insinuating Clemson Schedule is worth a damn. That schedule is laughable, especially this year, but idk how many W's I see on it if the Vols had the same schedule.

Having 3 teams from Florida in the SEC wouldn't work, but I see what you're saying.

It would definitely help out the East though. If FSU, Miami and Tennessee could get their shite together you could potentially have 4-5 teams from the East with a chance to make the CFP

I'm not really talking crap about Clemson or ACC.... Actually saying a fellow "big 6" member would have similar results in the ACC as they would in the SEC. The ACC is made up of 1 good team, a bunch of tennessee's, and a couple Arkansas.

Tennessee's worst decade in the history of the program...the 2010's. They are 3-1 vs the ACC during this timeframe. Their lone loss was the 2010 Music City Bowl, where extra time was put back on the clock so UNC could kick the game-winning FG.

...so, there's that.

Given that the outcome of the Music City Bowl was so egregious that it led to the NCAA changing the rules in response to the fact that UNC benefited from its own penalties, I don't even count that game.

This was also the same season we were beating LSU with 0:00 on the clock but they put more time on it because of our 14 men on the field penalty

Yep. Dooley was the unluckiest SOB on the planet. That said, at least that one was our fault. When UNC benefited from their own penalties, I about lost my shite. (Ok I did lose it but later recovered).

You're judging the ACC by last year's performances in concluding that there is only 1 good team in the League. Things are not static. And, as pointed out by Dabo, Bama blew through the SEC until the SECCG.

FSU will not remain down.
Same for Miami - a team currently killing it in recruiting.
Syracuse is building a powerhouse in the East.
UNC will rise again with Mack Brown. In less than a year, Mack will recruit this year 8 or 9 4*s and one 5* recruit for UNC.
Ga Tech finally has a coach that can take advantage of its premier location.
I hope VaTech and NCState fall and never rise again.
UVA has been impressive. Look at their smashing UofSC in the bowl game.

The future looks bright for ACC football.

Nah. I hate Tennessee but they are just part of the SEC. Seeing them in the ACC would be weirder than weird. They're our oldest rival.

South Carolina would make the most sense, Clemson does seem to be more of an SEC school, but Carolina has been here for a quarter century at this point, I think they're in the club finally.

Babers has done a nice job, but he's not building a powerhouse

I, for one, would be ALL IN on VOLS moving to ACC. It would be refreshing to get away from these slack jawed fgts from Alabama, Mississippi, etc. and engage with people who are more pleasant and intelligent.

Tennessee (speaking to East TN specifically) is historically more compatible with the peoples of Virginia and Carolina.

ACC is home to be most recent national champion so it seems that’s where VOLS belong.
