Saban had 3 or more losses in 4 of his 5 seasons at LSU including his last. He had 3 or more losses jn 2 of his first 5 seasons at Alabama.

But at the end of the day it doesn’t matter, because in reality he found someone prettier and left you. This thread proves that 20 years later you are still not over the breakup.

I’m gonna say no. If Saban had stayed at LSU, Bama would have gotten a better coach, won more and probably made Sabans arse quit. Why? Because we’re Bama

I think lsu fans drove him crazy, too chaotic for his personality. They have no discipline, he woulda won at least three more but the fans mightve affected his stronghold on football knowledge causing them to slip some.

Ed fricking orgeron and Leslie miles won natties at LSU. Lol of course he'd have been even more successful.

SURE! If LSU boosters gave his cheating arse the money to buy teams the way Bama boosters gave it up.

Would you have joined the circus as a side show act if you had three nipples?

I don't think Saban thought Alabama was "prettier", I mean he says he could've had just as much success at LSU in A Football Life.

He would’ve at worst won two natties at LSU from 05-07

It gets murky after that but I doubt it would be much worse

He left you for Miami. She was who you should be mad at.

Obviously no way to know the answer. But, once he had everything rolling it is pretty easy to assume that his success would be similar. He won so many recruiting battles against LSU, I think it would really depend who Bama had as their coach.

If someone like Urban or Spurrier went to Bama then maybe the answer is he would not have won 6 at LSU.
