Ok, if they did steal the colors, that isn't the same as modeling the university after Auburn. You understand the main point of universities is education.
I would think the Tiger was chosen to honor the first Clemson football coach who had attended Auburn. who cares about mascots. lol mascots are for kids.

Your most famous building (the one named after the notorious racist) was designed by the same architect as Auburn's.

No, by the time Saban retires which could be 8-10 more years for all we know, Dabo will have been coaching at Clemson for 15+ years. He built that program into a perennial national title contender on his own. He's paid well and Clemson has shown they are willing to invest in the program to keep up with the rest of the elites. I just think at a certain point, him being an Alabama alum isn't the pull it may have been had Saban retired already. But as it stands, Dabo is a legend already at Clemson and wouldn't have near the status at Alabama he does and will always have at Clemson. IMO, Dabo will retire at Clemson

Dabo would be a fool to follow up Saban immediately. If he wants to come and is smart, it’ll be after a coach or two didn’t live up to the unrealistic expectations that Saban has created. That would allow him to kind of bring Bama back from somewhat of a lull that the coaches following Saban put Bama in and be seen as somewhat of a savior. He probably won’t have the same savior success as Saban though.

Clemson is Auburn Jr. Purple comes from how blue fades it can look purple, that's how the uniforms looked when Clemson went dumpster diving down in Auburn for equipment

the dumpster diving was paying your low paid coaches more money to coach at Clemson...
Keep in mind Clemson was able to lure Auburn coaches to Clemson 50 years prior to the lake being built and there was nothing in Clemson at that point. That means Auburn had no appeal. lol

do you think that I don't know this? Lol Paying an architect to design a building isn't copying Auburn's building. That architect designed numerous clock tower buildings in the south to include the Tillman Hall at Winthrop and Tech Tower at G Tech. Clemson's Tillman looks more like Tech Tower.

the lake is one of the biggest lures to Clemson.
Auburn doesn't have anybody to blame but Auburn for fact it paid coaches and professors so low that many of them left for CLemson. lol
