t 20 more years of conference titles,

You have no SEC titles. Your titles are all from a shite league with no competition. No one in the SEC respects them.

national titles/appearances

Last title almost as old as the VOLS.

four heismans.

UT fans don't care about Heismans after multiple screwjobs.

Let's live in the present. You just got donkey slapped by South Carolina and are staring down the barrel of a 5-7 season with one conference win.

1. You must’ve just started watching football. The big 8 was the sec before the sec. You had Nebraska and OU. Not to mention the SWC was stacked in its hey day. Those two conferences, which are today’s big 12 ran college football for 25 years. Sigh, you people are insufferable and think the college football world has always revolved around you, it hasn’t.

2. Yeah. Nice math. It’s year 1 so how could we have any sec titles? Virtually impossible.

3. Yeah, we have a dog shite offense. But we have top tier defense that left your offense staggering for four quarters. Weird dichotomy when one side is so much better than the other, that tends to result in poor results.

4. Better hope the struggling doesn’t continue because of the offense because if I recall heupel has quite a good reputation for engineering top tier offenses. He will leave you, it happens.

5. Spoken like someone that has zero heismans to speak of. I’m sure if Niko won the Heisman we wouldn’t hear the end of it. Yawn.

lmao, that offense slowly strangled and bled y'all out until death on a ABC primetime College Gameday stage surrounding a game that was hyped for years in advance. Dominated time of possession, 150-200 yards rushing, an 80 yard tone setting TD bomb, and a phantom lineman downfield call negating another TD (if only our fans had thrown trash onto the field perhaps they overrule it).

Don't over flatter yourselves. Twas 22-3 1/3rd of the way thru the fourth quarter before we even allowed you guys to get up off the mat and take a swing at us.

Really? Because your offense was held to 13 yards the entire first quarter.

Think he’s still got it. Just saying.
Damn good thing football is 4 quarter, right?

Quinn hasnt been right since he came back from his injury. Your defense is decent, but not enough to win games with no offense.

Those conferences never ran anything. They are much closer to the Pac 12 than the SEC or Big 10.

You are the one bragging about conference titles. I am telling you none of them mean dick.

I know you hope desperately that JH leaves you. but open your eyes. He is building a monster at UT and has the full support of the AD, Chancellor and President. OU is a dumpster fire. He may leave down the road, but not anytime soon.

Plus JH's children are coming towards/already are at an age in their schooling/childhood where up rooting their now hometown friendships and relationships becomes a hard sell to the little ones. JH stikes me as a guy who would not take a job if he sensed his children were not fully on board.

Tennessee will never be an equivalent job to OU. To do that, you need to stack about 20 more years of conference titles, national titles/appearances and about four heismans.

By then Jh will be retired sitting in his rocking chair at his lake house. If they call him next winter 2025, he’s taking it.

Lol. You’re a clown and your clown school in the middle of nowhere is already finding out what it’s like to play in a real conference. Congrats on all those wins vs Kansas and Texas Tech

No defense is good enough to win with no offense.

Hate to tell you, but if OU had even a top 50 offense you’re staring a 17-0 deficit halfway through Q1 and that game very much goes another direction. Similarly to how things went versus Georgia. It was like watching a replay.

Ewers isn’t a great QB. It’s perplexing he’s a leading qb prospect but then again Mel Kiper is a clown. The best qb on your roster isn’t even the starter. Seems to me Sark is starting to realize that too.

In short, our defense is more than fine. But can’t do much when your offense is historically bad.

lol so you can’t refute anything I’m guessing? Appears to be that way.

Brah…you are in KNOXVILLE. Let’s cool it acting like you’re in Cambridge Massachusetts. It’s a fine town but it’s not some cultural hub.

I suggest they notch at least a singular SEC home win before they fan boyishly decree that OU is *without debate* a better job than the Tennessee job currently is on Oct 21st, 2024.

The phenom you all were bragging about all week turned the ball over twice in one half…he looked like a freshman.

Running all over? Weird we must’ve watched different games because outside of one breakaway for ~20 yards later in the game it felt like you couldn’t generate anything in the run game. Please revisit your yards per rush, it’s not great.

You have to have gas to take your foot off the gas. You had nothing going all night lol. Your coach was smart and decided to run it out the last half because he knew Niko was more than capable of two more turnovers and decided that wasn’t a worthwhile risk…after all, if the other team can’t play offense why test fate?

The delusion is hilarious. We exposed the weakness and you subsequently got exposed by Arkansas, whose coach btw is going to be on indeed.com by Christmas.

But you can drive into Knoxville via interstate and fly into a real airport if you need to. Also, that area of Oklahoma is ugly as frick if we’re being honest.

lol please research Osborne’s Nebraska teams, Switzers OU teams, Colorado in the 1990s, Kansas state in the 1990s/2000s. That’s 10 national titles in 25 years buddy. Is that good?

Can’t even take your comment seriously because you came so unprepared.

Again, you can’t brag about conference titles because you haven’t won one in over a generation. And it doesn’t look like you’re winning one in the near term, either.

I’m not bragging about anything. I gave you a set of facts. The facts happen to show OU is a better program. Sorry.

One who would rather raise their family and grow old in Norman, OK over living in Knoxville, TN at the same 10 million+ a year salary would be insane to dump a mega mansion estate overlooking the Tennessee River with the Smokey Mountains draped in the background only two or three miles from campus in exchange for living on the outskirts of a college town stranded in a sea of anti-scenic flatness.

That East TN scenery seeps into your soul before you know it.

Easy way to figure it out. Do you sleep well at night believing he stays at Tennessee if the job opens up?
