and your post was borderline retarded bringing up NFL success in a discussion about a college program's offensive success.

arkansas fans can fight their own fight... but recent past success, and Beilima's history, suggests that Arkansas will be very good on offense in the future. As an LSU fan, I'm sure you can appreciate the talents of guys like McFadden and Mallet (regardless of NFL success or failure).

You can disagree with me. Your argument wasn't good. Actually, I want to know who "Nelson" is, though. Who are you actually talking about?

and they've put several OL in the league during that time as well.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but over the last 10 years, I think the Hogs have only had three offensive linemen drafted total.

I mixed up Jerico Nelson with Colbi Hamilton... it's the offseason.

You are wasting your time on this guy. He really does have an unhealthy obsession.

To answer the OP, I think he would do better at places like LSU, Alabama, AU, and Georgia simply due to their homegrown talent. I think he'll do well here though eventually.

You caught me. I like football. I'm sorry it upsets you when I ask another poster to clarify his argument. I guess I'll just have to wait for bans of the good flagship posters to end before we can talk about football again. Never thought I'd say that.

Not what I'm talking about...you like to read our board and RA every fricking little thing. That's what I call unhealthy, sir and don't really feel you can be objective here.

Per Wiki... since 2003, seven OL's have been drafted out of Arkansas.

DJ Williams was also a nice offensive weapon... also Marcus Monk, though Nutt had no real use for WRs.

Oh no! I read team boards! I'm not sure if you read the team boards, but I'll let you in on a little secret, it is actually where the best news and info gets posted. It takes the bravado out of the posting. The Arkansas board on here actually has really good information. If I could post on the team boards, I would. I'm not sure that makes something an obsession. In terms of whether I RA something, who cares? If someone starts a thread to come troll another board, I don't think that's good for the board. Sorry, sug.

Wasn't he pretty tall? I seem to remember him being very highly recruited, but of course he was around when it was all run all the time, no?

Monk was a damn good college wideout... he took one about 60 yards against us in 2006. Monk + McFadden/Jones in the wildcat was ridiculous.

He's going to try to run smashmouth football against premier smashmouth teams (LSU, Bama, UF) with players who are far less talented. I don't see it working at all

Right which is why he hired Chaney

At least learn what he's said about the offense before you talk shite about it

It'll be interesting to see how they blend. When Wisconsin had Russell Wilson, that offense was pretty creative. When they had Danny O'Brien, it was not near as dynamic.
