No. One of the reasons our offense has taken such a nosedive is Gus wants to prove he doesn't need a DT QB. His ego is forcing him to prove he's such a genius he can win with a pocket passer too.

I doubt it. It's less about depth and more about the extra chromosome that Gus has.

Gus coaches from a place of fear.
Fear of turnovers.
Fear of losing a QB to injury.
Fear of losing a locker room to a QB controversy.
Fear of not being viewed as loyal by upperclassmen even if the underclassmen are more talented.
Fear of not being viewed as a holistic offensive mind.
Gus is simply afraid.
I bet we could add a bunch more to this list.
