Would a loss to Bama & 3rd consecutive championship cock block

...tomorrow turn UGA fans as nutty ad LSU fans?
All LSU fans want for Christmas is a win over Bama. It’s driven them crazy to the point of becoming SEC conspiracy theorists. I’ve never seem such a broken fan base.
Alternatively, despite Bama being directly responsible for shattering UGA’s national championship dreams 2 times in the last 6 years...3 if Bama wins tomorrow, UGA fans haven’t yet gone full-on stupefied.
Would a Bama win tomorrow break them and send them down the same path LSU fans are trailblazing, or will their lack of French lineage allow them to continue to be - for the most part - good sports?

Nah. This was very much a rebuilding year. Most expected 10-2 or 9-3.

Meh the first half of this season was miserable to watch. Then we had our abortion at LSU. The teams performance since then has been a pleasant surprise and gives us something to look forward to next year. Hell you can go back and look where I said it somewhere before the season. This year I’d expect to win the east and anything after is just gravy. NEXT year I expect to make the playoffs at minimum.

There is a difference between a prediction and dickriding. Most Au fans around here are legit pulling for Bama, just as they did last year.

No it would not. The difference is that LSU has tasted national championship level success somewhat recently so tDecline has been especially painful to them and has caused numerous psychotic breaks. Most Georgia fans have never experienced what LSU has, they've instead been nursed on a constant stream of disappointments from Mama Richt, so they'll swallow it whole instead of spitting it up.

This is pretty much how I thought about it, too. It'll be interesting what they'll think after a few years if Kirby doesn't have a championship.
Also, the whole "this is a rebuilding season", you guys have the third most talented team by the composite. Stop. There are no excuses.
If Kirby can beat Bama tomorrow, he should cruise through the Playoff. However, blaming a loss on a rebuilding season with that much talent is pretty weaksauce.

Were you one of the biggest proponents of the idea that 2017 was a fluke for UGA and UGA would fall off because we lost so many important players? This board was full of them. So many hating rivals. Thankfully they were wrong.
