I'm obviously joking, but yes, the OT, the SEC Rant, and Tiger Rant are the three boards in particular where I always get a great sense of humor.

Ernie does NOT "hate" the Birch Society. Instead, Ernie just corrects massive JBS errors by quoting sources which the Birch Society has ALWAYS recommended as reliable AND even sold in its bookstores -- including (primarily) quoting extensively from FBI investigative files.
ONLY people who believe that the Birch Society is infallible are going to post falsehoods online about what JBS critics actually believe.

If Ernie actually "hated" the Birch Society, you would need to explain the following FACTS:
1. Ernie AGREES with several positions of the JBS -- albeit for different reasons
2. Ernie has DEFENDED the Birch Society for decades against some of its most rabid critics who have written falsehoods about the JBS (including bigots like Eustace Mullins)
3. Ernie spent several hundred dollars to acquire the CIA and FBI files of Harry Dean in order to prove that Harry Dean was a liar. Harry claims that, in September 1963, he was a witness to a meeting of JBS members (including JBS Public Relations Director John Rousselot and Maj. Gen. Edwin Walker) and several other JBS members AND at that meeting those Birchers discussed their plot to finance the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
Harry Dean made numerous statements about his alleged membership in the JBS and in The Minutemen and in other right-wing organizations. Harry also claimed that he was an informant for the FBI about both left-wing and right-wing organizations.
I proved that Harry has been LYING for over 40 years about his "JBS plot" narrative.
If I "hated" the JBS -- WHY would I spend several hundred dollars and devote more than 10 years to defending the JBS against the malicious libels of Harry Dean??
Some of Harry's defenders have gone so far as to claim that I am "pro-Birch" -- because (like yourself) they do not have the capacity to recognize their profound errors.
