Uh he caught that and his knee hit in bounds. That's a touchdown son.
Uh, "son", watch the whole video. He didn't catch the ball.

No doubt that was the worst. I was at that game. DB made a great play and intercepted the ball and the official (his name was D*ck Pace) threw the flag. We thought it was offensive pass interference as the receiver definitely made early contact on him.
That Egg Bowl was handed to Mississippi on a silver platter.
Ugggghhhhh
This call here. Not sure it is the worst call ever. Possession was certainly in question. As a receiver you have maintain possession all the way through the play and he did not.
Tough call by the ref but not necessarily a bad one.

You want it straight
In the NFL that is not a catch
In the NCAA that is arguably a catch but I would say no
Refs need a promotion

There’s a consistent theme throughout this thread on the collegiate bad calls: horrific calls going the way of tOSU, PSU, ND......hmmmmm.
There is no one who can legitimately say the Peach County play was not a catch. I have to think that those who are saying that just want to be contrarians or have some other angle they’re coming from because that’s a catch by all measures of a complete pass.

A friend of mine coaching Calhoun benefited from that call...so to me it wasn't a catch.
