at least you could have good conversations with AuburnCPA. What did he get banned for?

I would go with Kiffin as the most backstabbing coach since that could be us in his shoes. He did UT wrong in so many ways it was not funny while the NFL is more of a business and the coach and the team can check out anytime they want.

Arky takes what they can get but after two seasons still has a coach who is all around better than kiffin, chiz, or Dooley. You so called experts have no idea how respected and knowledgable petrino is within NFL owner and coaching circles.

I honestly don't care what Petrino did. I like the Falcons and do pull for them, but i'm not pissed at him for leaving during the season(even though I think it is wrong to do that). Now if he had done that to the Cowboys I would hate his fricking guts

Jerry Jones is really the only reason we have Petrino. Auburn's in a wad because he did not want to be their coach. Can not blame him who in their right mind would want to recruit against Saban in the same state? The man can coach and can recruit, you do not win 2 National Championships at two different schools within the SEC if you are not a great coach.

I've never had a chance to go to a Cowboys game. Being a broke college student and living in Alabama has made it hard. I hate that I never got to go to a game in the old stadium, but I'm SO looking foward to finally going to a game in the new one in a couple of years.

we get to play there once a year every year for the next 5-10 years. It pays to have good alumni.

Yeah I went to the Cotton Bowl...crappy seats..thank God for the 80yard screen. haha I almost stayed for the Cowboys/Philly game the next day. Wish I would have. Not a Cowboys fan, but that place was so awesome, I wanted to go back.

Here was my seat. haha

Tuberville. "Drag me out of Oxford in a pine box" just to bust the next morning. At least Kiffin stayed for the press.

alright Petrino haters -- this is the REAL story on how Petrino went to Arkansas. So, you should include Saban in that backstabbing category as well.

The story I got from someone I trust on this subject goes something like this:

We put feelers out about Petrino and were led to believe he was not interested, so we moved on. Next, we were having very serious discussions with Kiffin and his people, and were on the verge of offering him. At the last minute a call came that alerted our people that Petrino was indeed interested. He asked that we hold off until the end of the NFL season, but we said we had to have a coach NOW because of recruiting. Basically, it was "the job is yours but you have to take it right now." So, he took it.
