Worked in Mobile, Al thjis week - Bama or Auburn Talk

Visited several offices this week....one in Mobile and one in Bay Minette. Those people are either for Bama or Auburn. And if you are for one, you are against the other.....totally.
One guy said he pulled for Oregon last year in the Title game. Said any self-respecting Bama fan did the same. They will pull for other SEC teams but not their rival....under any circumstance.

Serious question...I know that LSU doesn't have a traditional rival, and I don't care, never think about it and neither do the close friends that I have that are LSU fans. My question is, do you care? If so, why? Do other team's fans care if LSU has a rival? I'm only asking because I've seen the topic come up here by other fans multiple times, never by an LSU fan though
