Nope. It was money. BIG money that buys what ever they want and they wanted to run with the big boys. Huge huge mistake!
And since you brought it up. LSU had an awful lot to do with bringing in the Aggies. If not for that so called rivalry y’all have going with them I doubt the SEC would have given them the time of day. No matter how much money they were waving around

UGA losing to Texas was like Auburn losing to UCF.

Long whores lucky they got a team in 120 degree heat with a former offensive coordinator, a rigged locker room and afternoon time slot. Any other conditions and they wouldn’t have had a prayer.

Remember....it took Texas' best game vs. Alabama's worst game for you to have had a chance to win that game. You came close, but no cigar. Bama's worst is still better than Texas' best.
