money but won't miss any games and the university will not face any discipline action from the NCAA as they're not involved. This was discovered in-house and LSU too care of bidness...... again. We should be good to go and clear of any NCAA fog when the player report next week. That is unless that "10 story" turns out to be about our relationship with Lyles of course.

Lyles-LSU rates as a 7 on its most dramatic day. The 10 story, if there even is one coming, is not about LSU-Lyles IMO.

It wasn't so much about borrowing money as it was about him pocketing scholarship money he was given for housing. Can't do that.

While I agree. I really do. The problem that I can see with it is that I could hire his GF to work as my secretary and pay her 40k a year. With a wink-wink...it is being paid to HER, not HIM. If she then loans some to Him...well, that is nobody's business.
I think that is the fear.
They would have to regulate the amount of money even GF get paid to be sure it is reasonable / market value, etc.
I would imagine that that is the concern
