LSU is a destination college baseball job. I doubt Woodward is hurting for interest. Hell I even like Todd Walker now. He adds a ton of knowledge on a broadcast.

Aside from their assistants, do you guys really have interest in a coach still playing? It’s it’s not the Tennessee coach, I haven’t seen that LSU has any interest in who’s left playing

None of us have any idea who Woodward is targetting. Apparently people on the internet saying who they want and rumors have morphed into LSU being turned down by people. A&M's target was eliminated from the tournament 2.5 weeks ago. If Woodward's #1 target was in Omaha, it hasn't really been that long to sign someone. There has been so much just flat out, and later proven, wrong information spread around the past couple of weeks, I find it somewhat hilarious how many people are running with anything that is being reported at this point

I've never believed any of the Corbin stuff. But if Johnson is a target, they were just eliminated a couple days ago. Maybe O'Connor is still a target, despite what Mainieri said. He's still coaching too.

Nobody outside of Woody and the folks in his office truly know the answer to who we are targeting. The most recent rumor is Johnson, Godwin and Jarrett but that's just today's new rumor.

I know when woody was here he money whipped and there was always smoke before a hire, at least with jimbo it broke about 2 days early
