With Urban Gone, Jimbo is the Clear #3 Coach in Football

Only Saban (GOAT) and Dado have a decent arguement to be rated above.
Smart is probably the only other SEC coach in the top 10 and Mullen is in the top 20.
The rest of yall need to go make some hires and stop settling on retreads, has-beens, and never-will-bes.

I'm rather surprised at Myer's impending departure. Apparently the OSU administration is not feeling good about the way he has handled this most recent incident.

This will get downvotes because Jimbo coaches at A&M, and this is largely an LSU site, but it's really not even debatable.
Still, I expect coonasses to be along in a moment to start posting easily falsifiable empirical claims like, "he couldn't win without Jameis," or "he just inherited an incredible program from Bowden and left it as pure trash for Taggart to rebuild."

I think he's off to a nice start, but he also has some Sumlin luck in him with Mayfield and Murray as his QBs in a conference that doesn't play defense. Lets see what happens when he doesn't have a Heisman winner at QB. Jimbo took his Heisman winner and won a ring. Riley is about to go 0-2 in the same situation.

Very small samples size right now but he’s doing a good job
Not #2 though, a true #2 wouldn't have called that monstrosity of a fake punt in that SEC Championship game

Not knocking jimbo, I think he’s a very solid head coach. However, you can’t deny that Murray at A&M doesn’t even come close to Murray after he was developed by Riley.

You mean playing in an actual offense with superior OL and WR play compared to any defense they face.
Let's not act like Kyler all of a sudden got 100x better. He got away from SEC defenses and went from talent deficient to very lopsided advantage.

The guy who's got zero rings? He's good, no doubt, but he's got a lot to prove still. That fake punt is a fireable offense at most places.
