Apparently he took $500 from his uncle and paid it back last year.

An uncle Young himself calls a family friend and didn't meet until he was enrolling at tOSU?

Uncle? Sure. That's plausible. Why did he just meet this "uncle" the summer before his freshman year at OSU?

You can accept gifts, loans, etc from family and family friends as long as the relationship can be proven to be in place prior to your becoming a recruited athlete.

"Summer before my FR year at OSU" means he'd long since been a recruited athlete and, in fact, was at that point an athlete who had signed scholarship papers.

Likely only have to sit out a game or two based on the $500 (assuming that's accurate) unless it comes out the "uncle" is - or is connected to - an agent.

Female athletes whose boyfriends were on the football team obtained and loaned books and materials to players who benefited by not having to spend allocated funds for those. The school had no clue and WAS NOT CLOSE TO COMPLICIT the same as administration an leadership at Ohio St is not knowingly breaking the rules. Assistant coaches recruiting yes, leadership and internally no since to do so would be insane. And counter productive.

Maybe Sate is guilty of sloppy administration as Alabama was. But not to the extent that the Paul Dee lead NCAA committee punished UA. He, may he rest easy in hell, had a hard on for Bama since they blistered his 'Canes in the Sugar Bowl in Stallings natty year. Simple as that. Those 'Cane teams and Dee participated too, were being subsidized by a criminal kiting operation by a Miami gangster.

Garbage... He is fine. They don't need him against Maryland or Rutgers. It just hurts his chances in breaking the sack record.

An uncle isn't a "family friend".
