I say this pushes Alabama farther out ahead for first with Arkansas and LSU fighting for the second place spot.

Not likely, Davis was a game changer. Ronnie Wingo is extremely physically gifted though probably moreso than Davis he just could never put it together and find holes, deliver hits etc.

I had them winning the West also. I haven't written them off but they are gonna have to have some nice production at RB and someone is gonna have to step up.

Before I would've said:

1a -bama
1b -LSU
1c -Arky

4/5 - MSU/AU
6 -LOL

Now I'd say:

1- Bama/LSU
3- Arky
4-6 same

Wingo had 1 carry for 3 yards.

Arkansas will still compete. Our chances have gotten worse, obviously, but we'll still give 'Bama and everyone else on our schedule all they can handle, and if we get the right breaks, we can still get to Atlanta.

Knile was the SEC's best RB, IMO, but we go deep on offense at the skill positions and we don't depend on the run for all our success on offense like LSU and Bama. We will still score a lot of points, we'll just have to adjust our offense accordingly.

Our offense is very versatile, with Knile or without him.

In 2010 Arkansas lost their starting RB in game 2, and lost their best WR in game 8.

People stepped up, we won 10 games, we went to a BCS Bowl.

We will be okay. It hurts, it sucks, it stings, but we only lost one player, not 4.
