Nobody in the SEC was good enough to beat Florida State this year. Auburn came close, and proved they were a better team than Alabama and Mizzou...who just so happened to be the other 2 best teams in the SEC.

You don't understand football. Bama had just won 3 of the last 4 national championships, they had no motivation and looked like a drone team all year. It showed. Their worst team since 2007. Not because of lack of talent, but because of lack of motivation. Auburn was the exact opposite. They were like kids in a candy store, excited like heck because they were winless in the SEC, 0-8, the year before. The last time Bama lost their last two games they won 3 of the next 4 national titles. Don't be surprised to see that happen again.

The celebration for AU was due to a SEC Championship, cockblocking bama's rendezbous with lady dynasty and playing in the BCSNCG. In a year when the bammers thought at best AU would be 6-6. Hearing all the talk of a gimmick Offense that would never work in the SEC.
I do not think it is the two loses for the reason for bammers depression, it is who they lost to that has them ready to jump off the bridge.

I'm pretty proud of Alabama's football team. We won 11 games, made a BCS bowl, and finished ranked in the top 8. Lots of teams wish they had that kind of failure year in and year out.
Saban could do pretty much anything save sacrificing a new born at mid-field and I'd be cool with it. Winning cures everything.
