There is one team on the list which has two rivals also on the list.

Does not remotely jive with your OP.
Sure it does. If a team has only played 5 games in its existence, it doesn't really hold the same heft and meaning as a team that has played 500 games, even though its winning percentage may be comparable.
See how that works?

The statistic is meaningless and not indicative of anything related to the present other than the number of t shirts sold.
If you want proof of that all you have to do is realize Nebraska is on this list and ask yourself if it really means anything at all in terms of their success today.
It doesn’t. It means they sell a lot of t shirts. It doesn’t mean they win ballgames.
Football didn't start yesterday; its been around a while.

This is not only the dumbest list I've ever seen put in a thread on this forum, this might just be the dumbest THREAD I've ever seen started on this forum. My God man, are you serious? Wow, Oh, gee, look!.... Boise St is on the list and UGA is not. I...can't hold back the tears. (yawn). We sure are hurting for stuff to talk about until fall practice starts. Please Lord, let it get here soon. SMH

You have a link? Looks like Alabama & only Alabama has vacated wins included in the totals
Your statement is incorrect, hopefully due to ignorance and not maliciousness. The links you provided lead to joke sites. When I provide stats, they are fair to everyone and exclude no wins that happened on the field of play, you know, real life stuff.
Every team, not just Alabama, listed has their true wins and losses represented without concern for illogical situations in which a victory is magically dissolved.

My post was the dumbest list you've ever seen on this board? Really? Is that true or are you trying to imitate a hyperventilating Karen because Jawga doesn't have a good winning percentage?
You do know that Georgia is not a blue-blood team, right? They've been moderately successful over the span of time but, not really dominate at the top level.
Georgia is level two along with teams like LSU and auburn.
If you can wipe away the tears for just a second, you'll see that I presented a second graph with total wins as the indicator and Georgia at least made it in at #10, however pitiful that may be.

I bet you wouldn't be so sullen and doing your best impression of a wilted pussy if lsu was included on the list.
It's not my fault that lsu is not what you wish for them to be in the game of football.

Your statement is incorrect,
*edit - I just looked at Alabama at the top and Penn State at the bottom of the list.

I have also seen my team win 3 natties
I have also seen my team win a miracle comeback in the Rose Bowl against Okie

"Georgia is level two..." Hey Rainman, go poll 1000 fans of every team on that list and ask them if they would trade their team's success the last 3 years with UGA's, regardless of their ridiculous 'blue-blood' status and see what you get.

Umm... are you including games that teams have had vacated due to cheating?
The actual list (which doesn't include programs that have taken part in less than 25% of the seasons in which college football existed... so no Boise State):
LINK
OSU - 73.37%
Michigan - 73.36%
Bama - 73.34%
ND - 72.97%
OU - 72.53%
Texas - 70.25%
SoCal - 69.49%
PSU - 68.86%
Nebraska - 67.85%
FSU - 67.08%
Tennessee - 66.93%
UGA - 66.57%
LSU - 65.46%
There's a bit of a gap after this. The next school is UF at 62.65%.
Bama and the rest at the top have plenty to be proud of. There's no need to claim the seasons they vacated wins for to do that. Michigan is actually the top school that doesn't have any vacated wins to worry about. Notre Dame has 21. OSU has 12. Bama has 29.

Georgia has a winning percentage that places them well outside the top 10 all-time. So, you know, it isn't that great.

You are using fairy-tale lists that aren't real. I'm using stats that show wins and losses on the field of play. This is real life.

Football didn't start 3 years ago, infant. This is a thread about all-time winning percentages, sorry Georgia sucks.

What does anything you have said have to do with winning percentages all-time for individual football teams?
Me: Alabama has the best winning percentage of any team in college football.
Your response: Oak trees have acorns on them.

With me, I am owning it, you, not so much
at this rate, Georgia will be in the top 10 within a decade, maybe even 5 years
