Well then, please explain what this means.

Saban caught the SEC West at just the right time. All West Teams are in major transition with LSU dealing with the RP whole at QB.
Next year Saban will have to compete major strength in the West and improved Tenn and Florida on his schedule. I'm afraid Bama's window closes after this year.

didnt think he would do it last year. this year doesnt suprise me as much. i told my brother that they would win a NC within 4 years though. i still think he does it too.
Alabama had no depth last year. The lack of injuries and a relatively easy schedule are the only reasons Bama hung around so long. When Saban was hired, most people said we wouldn't make a run at a NC until 2010.
Bama will have to be lucky today to win. Probably the same thing could be said for UF.

Maybe. I think if Bama is disciplined and waits for FL to make a mistake or two, they can win it.

I'm not buying that at all, Saban is just getting started, and his recruiting classes are just now coming on, and his 4th Qtr Program enters yr #4. The key players sans Cody, Arenas,,etc..return.
But, you are right, LSU, Aub, Ark, UM, and MSU, will be sporting slightly more savvy QB play, and the majority with new staffs program implementations will be another year along.
Still, Bama will enter 2010 as a near universal national preseason #1 in most polls and mags.

He may be. He forgets that he and many of his fellow Gumps allude to LSU's domination of the SEC West in the 2000's being due to "the darkest period of Alabama football."
Hypocrites.
It's a zero sum game 59. Can't you admit when one of the big fish in the pond loses 22 scholarships over 4 years, it helped LSU and Auburn? In the end that argument doesn't matter. It's only what's on the scoreboard that counts. I even forgive Cory Webster these days.

Maybe so. I think just the opposite. Bama needs to bring the Barn's kitchen sink to throw at UF. Fortune rewards the bold and Bama has to knock the whey out of UF on the first play and set the tone.
Patience my arse, let's go kill something.

That would be awesome if Saban introduced some trickery against UF. It would make the game more fun to watch!

no way saban does trickeration. if he fricks it up he becomes belichick on sunday night a few weeks ago. its just not what he does. no need to start now

What Saban has done at Alabama is nothing short of incredible
No its not.
Alabama is a traditional power, which pretty much recruits itself. Has unlimited resources for recruiting and facilties. Not to take anything away from Saban he is a very very good coach. But any blind monkey with any kind of leadership and organization skills with running a college football program could win and win big at Bama.

Ingram might throw a pass out of the wildcat. Sometimes that shite works.

Don't bet against it.
Saban will sometimes throwout a few tricks in a big game.

Just wondering what you Bama Fans mean by your acronym for Nick Saban? What does CNMFS mean, what are you posters are saying? To me if I was him, and saw this I would think that you are using dirty expletives with my initials? Especially tha MF before the S=Saban!

I always though when Saban couldn't find any convenient arse to chew, he came here and posted as cajunbama.

I'll wait till the game to reserve judgement. While I agree, I didn't expect Bama to get there last year but this was supposed to be the year they are supposed to win it.

Saban's iq isn't near mental retardation level, so I don't see how that could be true
