Wade is not a horrible coach by any stretch. When he was at LSU, I never understood the love your fans had for him or the bragging/boastful attitude y'all took with him on this board.
Now that he's gone and I've witnessed (for a few years) what your program really looks like, I fully understand why your fans praised the hell out of Wade's accomplishments at LSU.

I have a hard time believing any ACC coach at a basketball school would leave for an SEC position. Especially one with no history and no success. Could be wrong

I would call into question his character and integrity for leaving a school after only one year to return to a place that fired him.

you don't know what money LSU has or doesn't have. go blow some hot air somewhere else!

I would call into question his sanity. NC State is a school where they "worship" basketball, and it is the number one sport by a mile. I have been to the triangle many times and those schools just have a love for basketball that many in football country (SEC) do not understand. The only schools I think are close in the SEC are Kentucky and Arkansas. Coincidentally, they both suck at football.
Leaving NC State for LSU would be a moronic career move for a basketball coach, unless they simply cannot handle the pressure.

I welcome it. Oats vs. Wade was about to turn up a notch before Woodward went full retard and decided to burn the LSU program to the ground. Has to be the dumbest SOB to ever run an athletic department. Now both Oats and Wade are friends. He's talked about how he was very thankful to Oats for scheduling a game with McNeese when he was having a hard time getting big schools to schedule them.
This entire board thought Wade should have been fired and show caused by the NCAA over a year before it actually happened. Now, apparently the LSU admin is now dumb for actually doing what the board thought should have happened a long time before it did

It doesn't matter what this board thought. LSU should have taken notes on how to handle the NCAA from Kansas. They told the NCAA to frick off and came out smelling like a rose. Woodward had no spine to stand up for his guy. The guy will forever be a clown due to being responsible for massive buyouts and firing what was the best basketball coach LSU has had in a long time, while also hiring what may be the worst LSU basketball head coach of all time. And what Wade did is basically legal now.

Woodward didn’t like WW,it’s that simple. He wanted his own man in there. If you didn’t already know he also couldn’t wait to get rid of coach O and refused to let O replace his coordinators with guys the coach wanted, hence Pelini and the crappy OC SW wanted him to hire.Just the facts mam.
