How often do you see a wide receivers coach mentioned for other positions? I'm seriously wondering this, not trying to be a smart arse.

Urban Meyer was hired as Bowling Green's head coach from his position as WR coach at Notre Dame. More recently, a lot of people thought Billy Gonzales was going to get Florida's OC job when Dan Mullen left.

TT doesn't have the physique to be a WR.....I think they may move him to LB.

Trooper is a good receivers coach and is very good at getting the receivers, and other players, pumped and emotionally ready to play, gets him a lot of trash from other fans. He does need a lot of work to make the jump to OC, he can do it but it is going to take time and patience. He will move on eventually and take an OC job but I personally think he needs another couple of years before being ready to make that jump.

Is going to jail considered retiring?

I know he can coach and I know he can recruit(possibly by means that deserve to be on a different board), but the guy is a straight up thug. I would pay this guy money to stay away from my program.

Reality is WR coaches are hired to be good recruiters. It's not really rocket science to sit there and pump balls through the jugs machine or set up cones for route drills during group work at practice..
