Jeremy Johnson was a 4 star.

You're right, and so is my spreadsheet on that. I looked at the wrong cell.

How was Nic Marshall calculated?

Is Frazier in your two deep at S? A five star?

Marshall is the starter at QB as a 3-star because he seems to be ahead. Not that it matters, as Johnson is a 3-star as well. Frazier is not in the safety depth chart yet, because I have no idea if he's one of the top four there, so I went conservative and left him off.
Hi! I wrote the blog post linked to here. Hit me with any questions you have on it.

To be clear: Auburn has the SEC's third-highest average recruiting ranking for the players in the two-deep. Backups are weighted 75% of what the starters are in the average.

Each school's depth chart is a best guess based on what they had heading into camp, plus a few revisions based on early injuries and other roster moves (like Frazier to safety). My intention is to update these figures after fall camp to include changes from competition, injuries, and fall enrollees.

If I'm not mistaken Dye... may have even held a seat on Colonial's board.

No guesswork required. Dye was in fact on Colonial's board of directors.

How often do you see a wide receivers coach mentioned for other positions? I'm seriously wondering this, not trying to be a smart arse.

Urban Meyer was hired as Bowling Green's head coach from his position as WR coach at Notre Dame. More recently, a lot of people thought Billy Gonzales was going to get Florida's OC job when Dan Mullen left.
