Maybe because the South is generally conservative from a political standpoint. It could also have something to do with the fact that Obama is a SOCIALIST running a country that was founded by a bunch of men who believed in CAPITALISM.
You are the only tool on this board Maplethorpe. Lost in your bullshite is the fact that most of the slaves that were imported into the United States came in through Northeastern ports. How's that hypocrisy of the Union suit you? I guess you're one of the ones who believes we owe African-Americans reparations for slavery. I've always wondered why the same liberal media that vilifies the South never mentions the fact that they were sold into slavery by their own people in Africa.
