I don't use the tough schedule or bracket in basketball. You have to beat every team you play and that's what makes you a champion. I just want UCONN and State to remain the #1 and #2 overall seeds. If that happens, they won't face each other until the championship game.

As long as we don't have to face UConn till the final I am good with the bracket.

Some of you might laugh but it has happened in all sports post season. I'm calling it now. We will be a 1 seed with the toughest bracket alive.

Tennessee would always seem to get the toughest bracket in Women's basketball when they were a powerhouse. They would set it up so they would have to play UCONN in the semifinals, because they didn't want at UT-UCONN final

Football, understand it will never happen.

MBB a little less so because a good team can always get hot and run through the tourny so i would never say never in that sport, but get that too.

But saying MSU is incapable of winning a title in baseball discredits pretty much everything else you said.

So, y'all think UConn will hold a grudge from last year?

Honestly I really hope y'all lose, the fact that y'all have 0 National Championships in school history makes me happy inside...can't let that go.

You missed the biggest one. Circa 2002-3 we were a 3 seed in the tourney and in the round of 32 we had to play Texas in Houston, orcmaybe Dallas. That was so criticized that the committee made a rule that the top 4 seeds had to be protected from such matchups in the future

Damn. You wrote a essay on Mississippi State basketball. I'm impressed. State blasted you by 14 this week and you are still talking. I'm impressed.

to be fair, every team that gets put in the same bracket with SNITCH U will say they got screwed...its hard for u to accept due to a massive inferiority complex built over a century of doormat status, but SNITCH U is the Crimson Tide of womens basketball right now. try to enjoy it, instead of looking for excuses already
