I actually think this has something to do with LSU at 2. I think they had a conversation about this early & absolutely will not reward LSU for running the gauntlet with a rematch against their divisional rival off a bye.
I’ve got all the confidence in the world in LSU, but I wanna say that scenario has been tabooed due to history, geography, context, etc.
