Will the Aggies dump LSU as a Rival

when the Longhorns call to add the Aggies back on the schedule (similar to how Arkansas just dumped them for Mizzou)? This Aggie/Tiger Rivalry might be the friendliest rivalry in the history of rivalries, so I wan't sure how the Aggies would react if/when the Longhorns come calling

That's not going to happen any time soon. Much, much bad blood between the Ags & t.u. If/when the ladies from Austin come groveling (I'd prefer that we never play 'em again), and if our AD decided to take pity on 'em, we'd probably just dump another OOC game.
The A&M/LSU rivalry is anything but friendly.

What do we not understand? You guys HATE Texas more than we ever could...and that is saying alot. Hell, your Battle Hymn is all about saying BYE to Texas. I think alot of Aggies would still like to play them.

I'm confused as to how Arkansas dumped LSU as a rival.
1. Arky fans claim LSU is not a rival
2. Arky fans circle the Bama game, not LSU
3. Arky fan claims Arkansas dumps LSU as rival when the Thanksgiving Friday game is bumped for LSU/A&M
That's the source of my confusion.

There was some good old fashioned hate between these teams back in the day. It will return once again.
As for the question, the sips are the ones who are backing out. I doubt we are gonna do them special favors if they want to play again, i.e. it will be on our terms. If we want to keep playing LSU at the end of the season, then they will have to agree to play it at another time in the year.
Honestly, a lot of Aggies are pretty excited about having LSU as the last game of the season. I doubt we dump LSU for a team that is running away from playing us.

Good point. I never realized the UT Fight Song referenced A&M. Maybe becasue I use to cover my ears whenever I heard it playing. I'm glad the Aggies told UT to kiss your arse. I can tell this though, in a few years if you guys get an opportunity to put them back on the schedule, it will be tough to turn down.

Funny. That's the same logic folks used when predicting why Texas A&M would never abandon the B12 for the SEC ("Ags won't leave the horns").

I'm sure you are, and I wouldn't blame you if you told Texas no, but I PROMISE you in a few years, Aggie Nation would jump at the chance to duke it out with the Longhorns on the field again.
As far as the Aggies and Tigers playing the day after Thanksgiving...you got a link on that? From what I understand, LSU isn't going to be able to dump Florida, have the Arkansas game moved to Fayettville, and move Arkansas to the middle of the schedule. They just don't have as much pull as they did pre 1/9.

Basically.
Not many LSU fans actually care about Arkansas, though they believe we do.
Check this thread out, see how many times Arkansas was even mentioned, in terms of rivalry, before aTm was on the schedule(IIRC)

We are excited to beat yalls asses
ETA: I'm 22, we haven't played y'all much in my life time. Growing up, in a family from SW LA, my dad engrained in me his hatred for atm.
My dad was like a kid during Christmas when he found out y'all were coming to the SEC
