‘Horns Down’ has resulted in 15-yard unsportsmanlike penalties, something you don’t see happen for other teams “mocking a gesture” of the other team.

Yah you did and with an epic response.
Just adds to the rumors that Georgia fans are dumb af.
I am surprised aggy has not sued the Minnesota Vikings yet for copying their boi-boi cheerleaders
This thread needs to be pinned.

You are aware there are 11 other teams that have male cheerleaders, right?
Baltimore Ravens
Los Angeles Rams
New Orleans Saints
Philadelphia Eagles
San Francisco 49ers
New England Patriots
Tennessee Titans
Indianapolis Colts
Kansas City Chiefs
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Carolina Panthers
You know a lot about male cheerleaders, my guy.

1. How did you prove that wrong?
2. That was an excerpt from an article.

You put it in bold and thought you had a mic drop moment, and within minutes I was able to pull three different teams that received unsportsmanlike penalties
Why do you hillbillies make this so easy?

Exactly how did he prove me wrong? Him saying "Nuh uh!" is not proof. Talk about being dumb.

I agree 100%. I do hope the pin this.
That said, most of the Texas fans i interact with on the site have been fine. There are only 2-3 that seem a bit...off, and 1 or two of those might be alters.

Wow. Congratulations. But...didn't you say earlier that horns down does not bother Texas fans? Seems as if it does according to your responses.

Yes, me laughing and making you look like a complete moron has me upset…
Are you even reading what you’re typing?
Nobody gives af about horns down. YOU were the one that brought it up, and YOU are the one trying to talk about it still for pages on end
Why does it bother you so much?

I love that this thread is still going…
Putting the hand gesture in other players faces (taunting) is what it sounded like was decided for the unsportsmanlike penalty, unlike flashing it to the crowd.
Which is ironic, because it all started with Longhorn players flashing their hand gestures in opponents faces to taunt them. So then other teams started flashing the horns down in response.
But then Mack Brown got all butthurt when other teams flashed the hornsdown back at them.

Since the penalty was created by the big 12 in 2019, it has never once been called in a Texas football game

What about when Roy Williams was doing it? He was flashing the hornsup regularly. Was that before or after?
Edit: it’s the same as the gator chop. If you are taunting, others are going to taunt back at you…

I don’t recall any player trying to taunt an opposing fanbase other than clapping or doing the “shh” motion (which has also earned Texas flags, most recently in 2020)

Naw, man. It was all fair game.
Remember, the only person who got upset enough to whine about it was Mack Brown.

You think a coach should say “please only flag us and put us at a disadvantage for doing the same thing every other team is doing?”
If you actually think that, then it’s no wonder your program is simply incapable of winning 10 games in a single season
