The biggest asset UT has had in the past is their large stadium and fan base. But other schools now have stadiums almost as large and, unlike Tenner, regularly fill them up.

UT has the uphill battle in that they don’t have great in-state HS football to recruit, and their brand has suffered regionally and nationally for quite awhile.

I personally don’t think Pruitt has what it takes to turn a program around. I think he makes a good maintenance guy, but lacks the leadership skills to turn a program completely around. It will take a Saban to do that and Sabans are hard to come by.

The immediate future’s not bright for UT football.
