Maybe we need a sticky for this so people will quit asking.

Looks like OP has never been to an SEC football game.

It will look like it, but he will actually be standing.

Only if he's playing QB in the fourth quarter.

It's true that they always have been in the locker rooms during the anthem, but would it really surprise anyone if they were on the field for it this year? Especially with the SEC not allowing bands on the field for pregame this year? Them not being there for the national anthem in the past has a lot to do with the pregame band routines. The band does their thing, part of it being the anthem, then most have some formation they make before the team runs on the field. None of that will be happening this year.

Crap dude! You are the one that claimed no SEC schools offered a scholarship to JT Daniels. When I pointed out that Alabama (Your school), LSU, Texas A&M and Ole Miss has offered him you abandoned the thread.

After this thread, don't you think it's time to take a break from posting.

The Sept 26th plan is to gather both teams together at midfield after pregame warmups to take a knee, hold hands and listen to Lift Every Voice and Sing.

I mean, it's always a possibility. But would you automatically assume that in spite of it not ever happening before and ask a dumb question?

I don't think it's ever healthy or smart to assume things are going to happen before they do. However, I do think it's a realistic possibility, and for the sake of the discussion, I do wonder if players/coaches were on the field and did take a knee how it would be received. I'd personally prefer they kept them in the locker room like they always have been to avoid any potential political shitstorm as we've had enough of that already this year.

Honestly? I think you very well could be right. Had the OP been smarter than a stop sign he would have done well to have posted YOUR scenario for discussion instead of what he did.

I typically don't go after other posters, but he thought he would be cute by trolling Georgia in the other thread, so I thought I would just point out how dumb he has been acting. I think I've got it out of my system now though.

Doesn't make a shite different to me. I don't care what their politics are, just play football.

If they for some dumb reason think taking a knee is changing their world, let them enjoy that delusion.
