Nah. We'll keep doing it just to piss you off and make you jealous.

We enjoy reflecting on our past. How about you?

At what point will Alabama stop memorializing the Bear and allow Saban to hold his rightful place as Head Coach.

He came to Alabama knowing how strong and respected the legacy of Bear Bryant is with our fans...so I am pretty sure that's the last thing on his mind.

IMO- you are disrespecting your coach.

So..we're disprespecting him by putting up a statue of him??

His point is we should forget all of our coaches... because what do they matter? It's not like they helped to forge the Alabama that we are today... not like they were utterly integral in our team's history.

His point is, the ONLY THING THAT MATTERS is what happens today. I mean, who keeps up with ANY records? pff...

<deep down, the guy just can't stand us being proud and happy as shite of our past>

He needs to build up his legend if he ever expects to hold his own in T-Town.

I have a (true?) story about the Bear getting soused and going to sleep on the #1 fairway between the golf course bar and his house one night that Sabin will need to work on in order to top.

The short man has his work to do if he ever expects to top The Bear. - Gott'a love him.

his history had been to stay at a school for around 5 years... he may end up retiring with Bama tho... assuming he's not really going to give the NFL another go

Wait, I thought the problem with Bama fans is that they think TOO highly of Saban, idolize Saban, etc, etc.

Now you say we are disrespecting Saban in favor Bryant.

Make up your damn mind ... your own business.

its not about shame it about the religion nature of worship that fans have. UCLA does not worship Wooden in that manner, The Skipper produced an unbelievable decade of baseball at LSU, but we don't have idol worship, Even Vince Lombardi is not worshiped in that manner
