Most years, you need to get a bit lucky to win the NC. Richt has not. He has put us in position plenty of times but things didn't fall our way.

Kind of odd for such a religious person, yeah?

Not as long as Miles, Saban, and Spurrier keep their current positions.
Certainly makes the mountain he'd have to climb a bit steeper.

UGA will still have to go through LSU next year.

Agreed, but that's also showing that we have had our chances and things didn't work out like we needed to. The people saying "no" just think of Richt in 2009-2010. Not shooting rainbows up assholes or anything, but the "not as long as miles, spurrier, and saban" BS is ridiculous. He's beaten all of them before, and beaten them all away from home too

no i agree with that, like i said i think 2012 will go a long way in determining it

So if everything goes as it's supposed to, and we have UGA undefeated and LSU undefeated next year, will the SECCG be the game of the century, part deux?

I think Georgia is The winningest program without a NC.

Those were his 2 best years, but the way things look as of NOW I see no reason why next year can't be just as good if not better.

Maybe. His predictability makes Gary Crowton's offense look like Mike Leach's.

Predictability does not matter as long as you execute. I think UGA is getting the true playmakers (Offense) they need and FINALLY have a defense again. The early Richt teams had great Defense and decent playmakers. The Stafford/Moreno years they had no defense.

Richt will get his title.
