Or do you see Russell finishing the game like last year?
The Russell kid, I thought, threw the ball better against lsu.

Relf carried them against AU and took a bunch of hits. He was worn down by the end of the game. If he has to carry the load as much against LSU, it may be hard to finish the game on such short rest.

That's what I was thinking honestly. The kid played with a ton of heart, but he took a beating. 27 runs?
5 days rest.. I don't think he finishes the game Thursday for one reason or another.

all depends on how much he has to run. if he has to tote the rock over 20 times like he did Saturday, it will be a long day for him and State IMO

Yeah, either way, it's probably going to be a very hard hitting game.

I think he has at least 15 carries

That's what I want to know because all off season everybody said he wasn't worth a damn. Relf has made incredible improvements under Mullen. After the Bamer game last year he was a totally different QB

Game plan different. Relf ran a lot against Au because Au prepared for the running backs. State hoped that would go against Au.
State will have a different plan against LSU. He might run a lot and then again may not run at all.......
