The stats show LSU's defense and special teams win games. So if this is a typical LSU game we will get 2 or 3 turnovers and keep Arkansas starting from inside their 15 yard line each time they get the ball.

Or will Petrino play more conservative to not turn the ball over to stay close and try to win the game in the 4th quarter.

Arkansas' special teams are actually better than LSU's, and our offense is worlds better, so maybe you should be worrying about LSU's field position in this game.

Petrino owns Miles and will use the same gameplan as always. Big plays to score, run the ball to win.

Petrino will beg Miles not to kneel it on him with 5 minutes left....and then watch the his team quickly get disposed of.

I think he'll let it rip. I like Arkansas as an overall team, but I don't like them in this game and - more specifically - on the road. Arky has been horrid on the road this year.

I've seen Arkansas play twice against Bama and Vandy and I saw no evidence of your claim. Now I know why some call you delusional.

He only gets conservative if he has a lead in the 2nd half, depending on the situation...

Throw to score, run to win

As with most games, I'm sure Petrino will want to receive the ball first and try to get a score on the first possession. He usually favors the pass early on, something like 60-40 pass. After the first possession or two, it will depend on how the game is going.

When Arkansas has had a lead in the second half, Petrino leans more toward the run, but if we're behind, he'll probably put the game in Wilson's hands while calling a few runs here and there to try and keep the D honest.

Petrino won't try to "out-conservative" you like Saban. He will want to play his aggressive brand of football, although he's smart enough to adjust his gameplan as needed.

Petrino will have to throw to catch up. Miles will make his o-line and d-line quit....just like he's done to every other team this year. Teams with much, much better lines too.

I'll set the O/U at 2.5 total yards. I'll take the under.

Not as many as Arky wants, but more than LSU thinks. I think he is the best PR in the conference (hell, put him in the situation Maze was in and it isn't a 73 yard punt...Adams catches it and takes it past midfield. That was not a fair catch ball...it was a catch and run ball)

Defense - agreed.

Which stats are you looking at for STs?

Our stats show that our offense wins games. Weird.

One persons view of STs...

This makes literally zero difference when the ball isn't returnable. We've give up 6 return yards all season long. It's not b/c all the returners we faced were shitty or anything. There is just not an opportunity to return the ball.

I looked up the stats - y'all kickoff team has better numbers than ours. But our punting and field goal kicking is better.

Arky doesn't have the talent in the trenches to compete with LSU for 4 quarters. Jefferson, Ware, and Ford may all get over 100 yards rushing
