When you’re a school like LSU you’ve got so many options to look at, takes more time. Kelly’s phone has been ringing off the hook from coaches at stepping stone programs at Mizzou who are trying to move up to the big leagues. It’s a process.

Kelly sure did a great job hiring House and all the defensive coaches since he became the HC at LSU. It has been just two years this failed experiment on Kelly. Now he is at it once again. This isn't looking good for Kelly.

Makes sense. What does it matter if he announces today, over the weekend, or next week?

He’s from Houston (LSU West)
Played at Tulane
Coached at La Tech with Joe Sloan
Recruited Harold Perkins
Pay Raise
I’m sure he has more than that to chew on, but those are the positives I see for coming back to LSU
Having said that loyalty is a big thing and Drink identified his talent while Kelly showed him the door. He’s changed the culture at Mizzou in two years and can make the defense there elite.
