Um...explain this. I am certain you are completely wrong.

actually that is an interesting argument

if your family member seeks money on your behalf... don't they become an agent in the eyes of the NCAA?

This is a lot harder to believe than the Cam Newton situation. It doesn't even seem like it makes sense. He was probably just BSing the A&M guy. I want to see at least a little evidence on this.

or maybe it has something to do with former players throwing your university under the bus and squealing like pigs....or did you just forget about that part?

EDT: Sorry posted prematurely... lol

Wasn't really trying to call out PP or LSU. I'm just wondering about what happens when any great talent goes to tier B when he would have been a star at Tier A. I think money changes hands in multiple places if that happens.

Not necessarily. People have lots of reasons for choosing schools.

True, but I was referring to very talented kids with Lyles involved or any other street agent.

Street agent with a player like PP ending up at a school like MSU would make me extremely suspicious.

In the PP case, FL kid, goes to MSU while having offers from LSU and others combined with Lyles = $$$ IMO. (hypothetical)

Is Les really smart enough to make this happen? I just don't see him able to keep an 80k payments under wraps.

In all fairness, Les did graduate from one of the top academic public universities in the country.

Per the invoice to LSU assistant Brick Haley and paid 12/21/10, the Tigers paid Will Lyles 6K for JUCO film of California and Kansas

LSU paid two other recruiting services more, $15.5K to XOS and $13K to Collegiate Sports Data. Avg payment of 11: $5,344.

These are normal prices for these services.
Cecil's $180K and Lyles' $80K are not.
Thanks for linking the cool picture though. LINK
