Unlike Alabama, LSU doesn't have to "claim" titles. LSU humbly accepts national championship trophies awarded to the Tigers by reputable organizations, and puts them on display.
Currently the following LSU seasons have been recognized by reputable organizations as national championship caliber, and have awarded trophies accordingly:
1958, 2003, 2007.
I'm not sure why you think LSU would actually STOP displaying these trophies.

03 was not a split title. LSU was the national champ that season. I don't want to hear any USC bullshite.

LSU doesn’t have to “claim” these titles, since there was a title game set up, which LSU was invited to and won. MNCs are claimed. From the BCS era to present, you just show up and play and the rest is taken care of. Claiming is done by the teams that weren’t invited, ala UCF in ‘17 and USC in ‘03.

Sure, as long as Bama gives back 2011 when they finished ahead of a team that not only beat them but had a better record.

Melt harder. And maybe you guys should let go of all those “extra” titles before you run around giving advice on how to count.
