Maybe LSU doesn't have any real traditions so they have to resort to night games and games on Saturday to feel special.

I'd put the odds at zero. LSU fans want their coaches head on a spike as well for even the slightest screw up. You are a very volatile fan base and it will stay that way regardless of the conference.

it's not about the advantage for us, it's about being able to tailgate all day and the fact that LSU football has been played under the lights for 80 years.

That's something that not every team does, so that is an example of a tradition. Playing games at night, not so much.

Yeah, because we don't get to tailgate all day when we have night games? Have u been to Tuscaloosa?
As I said, every team has been playing "under the lights" since the day they put them up.
