I'd enjoy reading the schedule threads. "Texas only plays Kansas and Iowa State in the B12 North, while we have to play Misso...wait, Missouri's gone? There's no more Big 12 North? Huh. That's...that's cool I guess, but now what are we going to do to kill time during the off-season?"

They are going to go independent so they can choose a schedule they deem to be fair every year.

y'all can joke about it but from reading the tiger rant and listening to BR radio there are a lot of LSU fans out there that are very angry at the SEC Office for a variety of reasons. I agree with some, disagree with others but it just seems to be getting worse and worse.

The Big 12 is so unappealing now with their recent additions. Its kind of a joke. It was a decent league before Nebraska and Colorado left. A&M and Missouri leaving sealed it.
They are seriously talking about adding Cincinnati for frick's sake.

If they offered us the same revenue cut as OU ant Texas plus guaranteed that 75% of our home conference games were at night I would think about it.
The SEC doesn't seem to really value our traditions the way they do other schools plus we're the ones who always seem to get shuffled to the least desirable bowl game.
