Not a narrative, just facts. Smart took a team with half of Richt’s players to a place Richt never took them. He also has a better record against top 10 opponents than Richt.

Those are 2 parts of the passer rating. The other 2 parts are also important, yards per attempt and td %. Newman was better than Fromm in both. You are still going with the “tds aren’t that important” card but now adding yards to it?
Fromm was conservative to a fault last year. Taking less chances means less ints, possibly a higher completion % to checking down, but also more punts.
Speaking of costly int’s, Fromm threw a killer pick 6 vs Carolina. Lack of mobility played a role in it.

I mean if the Cubs can Georgia will I'm sure. My guess will be the coach after Smart will come in and win won his second year with Smarts talent.

I suspect they are right. And they will forget Straws wisdom that they have better coaches, facilities, and they just do better with what they have.
Besides....Kirby is an awful coach, right?
