That's a shitty thing to say. I guess it's come to be expected from a fanbase like LSU, though.

Stingley is becoming a bat signal like Fournette was for Bama fans to bring up the games against Bama no matter what the topic is about.

I'm missing the part where I said I wanted that to happen? I just predicted it will.. since he's 160 pounds and lanky. I wouldn't wish injury on any player, but I can understand, and look past your lack of reading comprehension skills. "It's expected from a fanbase like Bammer"

What the hell you're talking about? No we laugh at you guys, because you prop him as this unstoppable force...he's a really good player likely high draft pick that got his shite pushed in twice.
#1 corner in the nation and LSU coaches didn't have faith in him playing Smitty the whole game. Stingley wanted no part of Devonta both fanbases know that much.

Which means he’s won a lot more of those battles than he’s lost.
I’m baffled by grown assed white men arguing over young black men they’ve never met, many of which will be millionaires in the future regardless of where they went to school.

Devonta embarrassed pretty much everybody he faced if not all.
He wasn’t even the first receiver picked in the draft. Ja’marr Chase was. Heck, he wasn’t even the first receiver drafted from his own team!

Why did he beg Pelini and O to put him on Smith at halftime? I think most LSU fans will agree with y’all that Pelini and O aren’t the brightest coaches

Not sure how that is relevant to the comment, especially as it is his size that deterred teams and not his production
His production was undeniable.
Second, drafts are notoriously flawed. Using your logic, Tom Brady is a lesser QB for going in the 6th round, 7th QB overall, and having battled Drew Henson over the course of his Jr and Sr season at Michigan for full time reps. Henson, after a failed baseball stint, would be drafted in the 2003 NFL Draft, also in the 6th round but 192nd overall (7 spots higher than Brady's 199th overall selection). Surely Henson was the better QB, right?

Devonta smoking his arse was real, pal. Like it or not.
But seriously- would YOU opt out?
Stingley's freshman year, he ended up looking like the best corner in college, and a day 1 NFL lockdown corner.
Last year- he dealt with injuries, the new scheme was bad and/or poorly implemented, he didn't have a lot of help (I think he was kinda playing safety in his head, looking at other DBs getting roasted). It's not the year I'd want to come out on.
2021 promises to have a normal spring and summer, a more pro-oriented scheme, and (with Ricks emerging last year) potentially another stud corner to pair up with. And yeah, Stingley and Ricks both potentially will be 1st rd talent.
If it were me, I'd want to come back and re-establish that I'm THE MAN.
