I agree, and they have two, too. They don't have a leg to stand on.

Meh. Most reasonable fans accept the 1942 one. I'm not too concerned about that one. However, the statement was made when we win one. We already have.
1942 was retroactively claimed in the 80s.
The same sources that recognize 1942 for Georgia also recognize 1913 for Auburn.

Agreed. Add to that, that Michel came out of the game, so....

I call it like I see it. If that means Auburn, Florida, Bama, Tennessee, etc. deserve some credit from time to time, then it should be given.
Please link a few threads of you jumping trolling AU fans like you did me in this thread.

You know....you don't have to troll to prove you are a fan, right?

Not trolling Kyle. He likes all fans to be reasonable, so with all the AU trolling of UGA since first of December, there has to be a few threads to show that, right? If not, one might wonder why the only fan he jumps is a UGA fan trolling aubies.

And?
quote:Not quite. BR claime it for Auburn in 1913. Harvard and Chicago had more sources naming them over Auburn.
The same sources that recognize 1942 for Georgia also recognize 1913 for Auburn.
B(QPRS), BR, DeS, HS, L, PS, SR, WS named Georgia National Champions in 1942. More sources than any other team had.

Call me when UGA wins a NC. Until then they are at a level just above the USCe, A&Ms and the MS schools of the SEC.
And Auburn's I guess? We have as many National Championships as Auburn and the same number from 1960 until the present.
Difference is players on UGAs last team to win the NC are Grandparents and the players on AU last team to win one are just starting a family.

That's not what I meant. you were asking him to provide links to threads of him trolling or jumping on Auburn fans to prove he was a "true" Georgia fan.

What do you consider jumping? Disagreeing?

Where do you think they got their information from? They aren't polls. They are information centers. They based their information on that one poll.

Doesn't know what the CFDW is.
Gives Alabama shite for retroactively claiming titles but does the same thing.

Last I checked it is still a National Championship. Is there an expiration date on natties, now?

Yes I do. College Football Data Warehouse is an American college football statistics website that was established in 2000 and went on hiatus in March 2017.
It doesn't change the fact that it is not a poll, but an information wharehouse that gathers information. If I find 1,000 sites that cite a poll that georgia won a National Title in 1942, does that mean I have 1,000 polls saying they won it?

No, I don't. Name one time where I have done this.
You are naming sources, not polls. I am naming polls.

And no poll at the time picked Georgia.
If y'all have 2 then Auburn has 3. You can't have it both ways...

Yes they did.
B(QPRS), BR, DeS, HS, L, PS, SR, WS all named Georgia.
There a ton of polls that named their own champions. Those were the ones that picked Georgia. It wasn't until 1950 that the NCAA decided to officially recognize only teams picked by certain polls, none of which existed in 1942.

Dude. Of the polls that existed, more polls, by far, picked Georgia in 1942. Not true of Auburn in 1913.

Someone needs to hit up the records book and stay off of Wikipedia...
