Losing to UA we would not have gone to ATL (42-10). I don't know if we would gotten to NC over OSU or not. Maybe, not sure how that would have played out.

1 more victory and no meaningful hardware at the expense of a head to head loss isn't demonstrably better. You could make an argument for it sure, but its not that clear cut. Auburn won 2 more games than LSU in 2013, in addition to winning the SEC. If they want to talk shite they can.

While I think LSU was a better team in 2012 (and obviously 2013 for that matter), it doesnt change the fact that "my team won the game so we were better" is stupid logic. If Team A goes 1-11 and beats team B who goes 13-1, team A is not better than team B despite the head to head.
