Lets be honest it has already been 25 years since UTjr won their last Natty, but we are getting ahead of ourselves just a little.
Before they can even think about winning a Natty they have to be able to at least be competitive with their 2 biggest rivals. Things are looking rough in that area. Since the start of the Saban era (2007) UTjr is 1-16 vs Bammer and 4-12 vs UGA.

Winning the NC is hard, not winning the East since 2007 has to be the larger frustration.

I think their 2nd biggest rival is Vandy.
Tennessee is 4-3 in the last 7 and 6-5 in the last 11 matchups.

We're talking about the length of time since you last even won the league. Forget the natty. We've never gone more than 20 years between conference titles so you've already well surpassed that with no end in sight.

This use of "UTjr" as a pejorative in an attemp to lessen an original SEC member's worth to this conference in the face of UTa's entrance into the league .... it's pure petty bullshite.
Tennessee is an original member. This sort of trolling goes too far.
Never, under any circumstances, should any member of this board put the **gs of UTa above an original member of this conference.

When the conference expands next year and the CFP expands, the SEC championship game will not matter. Teams will be able to get in with 1-2 losses and without having to play they extra game.
