Other than the LSU game, have they watched Florida play?

UGA will win the East. Book it.

Uga is going to win it.

Not much debate. They played poorly and lost.

Mizzou isn't legit, and UF is unconvincing as a steady contender. They played really well vs a very good LSU, but could easily be a 2 loss team. Their D that was well spoken of gave up 400+ yds to UK. If not for Trask coming in to save the day, the Wildcats have back to back Ws over the Gators.

Lsu destroyed UGA last year, and they bounced back fine

These dudes watch and bet on every sport. You want to know about a team, pro or college, they're better than ESPN, it was amazing the statistics and injuries they knew using apps on their cell phones. Bet, bet, bet, that's all they do!

I will gladly bet money, signature, or whatever the hell you would like on Mizzou running the table this year. The only game I'm worried about is UF currently.

Who has UGA beat this year that gives them this bad arse resume everyone wants to lay at their feet?

If they are high on Florida, I would have to either question their knowledge or their existence. Or, they are LSU fan's doing PR for Florida. I somewhat understand not wanting to except an average team came into your house and made your defense look bad. It happens.

Ga bounced back fine last year in a terrible division. Nearly half the teams in the west could have won that division. This year, there's competition, Missouri has the best defense, Fla the best offense, and Ga the best PR campaign, Ala fans.

Yes, and they look average.

You obviously don't know shite about football! I've watched that damn Fla vs LSU game a dozen times just to see every part of a play as it unfolded. Fla's receivers are incredible, so is their QB, he can run any offense, Mullen threw the damn playbook at LSU!

So you are saying one game defines how good a team is. Because they have looked average at best the rest of them. I could probably pull quotes from you on here stating that before the LSU vs Florida game.

I get it. You need Florida to be a good win. But you know the next loss Georgia has will be in the SEC championship game against LSU or Alabama.

Until the time of the ruling on Missouri's appeal, we actually ARE eligible to play in the SEC championship.

Are you sure about that?

Seems like Mizzou would have to win their appeal in time for the conference to let them go to Atlanta.

There is some precedence for this. SEC got wind Florida was about to get hammered by the NCAA in 1984 and sent LSU to the Sugar Bowl instead.

LINK

From November 1984:
quote:

The Southeastern Conference executive committee today ruled Florida ineligible to represent the conference in the Sugar Bowl or to participate in any bowl game for the 1984 season. But it deferred decision on whether the Gators can retain the S.E.C. football crown.

The unanimous vote by the seven- member committee not only shuffled the lineup for postseason bowl games, but also left open the possibility that the Gators would be stripped of the first S.E.C. football title they have ever won.

Florida faces three years of National Collegiate Athletic Association probation for recruitment and other rules violations. The school has appealed its penalty, and the N.C.A.A. council will conduct a hearing in January to decide whether lesser sanctions should be imposed.

Now, obviously that's ancient history and predates the existence of the SECCG. But I find it hard to believe the SEC would allow Mizzou into the SECCG unless they actually win their appeal ahead of time.

I mean, y'all aren't Bama.

I'm saying Trask is the reason Fla beat Kentucky, he's been patiently sitting on the bench these last two years and learning every bit of Mullen's offense, and it showed Saturday night. Fla's offense is talented, their receivers run great routes. If LSU faces Fla, so be it, but I'd rather face a Ga team whose receivers don't know how to run routes and whose offense is largely running the ball. Good luck with that in this SEC.

You think Trask is better than Burrow? He seems to be doing more with less?

Trask has been the best QB in the East so far.

I’d rank the top 5 SEC as

1) Burrow/Tua
2) Tua/Burrow
3) Trask
4) Fromm
5) Bryant

No! Burrow doesn't make that mistake in the end zone. Burrow doesn't take sacks like he did last year. Joe's become a complete quarterback in a big way.

Are you saying that against a better than average QB, LSU may have lost that game?

The kid had a good game. But there is a reason. Either every FCS and FBS school missed out on a great QB, or LSU played poorly on defense. Which do you think?

they played LSU very well Saturday. LSU is ranked number 2 in the country right now.

Why wouldn’t LSU fans think Florida is a good team right now?

Cause it's easier to say Florida is a good team than it would be to admit, that maybe, just maybe, your defense is bad.

Just one example: On one of Florida's TD's, it seemed that some of LSU's DB's were playing man and some were playing zone. Was that a great play by Florida or Trask? No, it wasn't.
