No, alabama jumped okie state because they lost and everyone moved them down in the polls, just like Oregon this year.

Oregon's only loss would been to a much better team than bama's loss?

I must have missed where Oregon played LSU, UF, UGA, or any other of the 6 or 7 SEC teams better than Stanford.

LSU fans are killing me this is getting funnier by the day. If Bama wins they are going if not GA does. The only reason Bama went last yr is we benefitted from LSU being the number one team and we only lost by three in OT. Oregon lost to a team not number one. Tess situations are not similar at all. At this point these threads are just for flaming. One year does not equal another.

Arguable at best. TAMU and Stanford would both be ranked nearly the same. Then it comes down to the wins on the schedule. Oregon would have lost to the only team they played that is in the top 25. Bama would have (assuming a win over UGA, which is not a lock) 3 wins over top 25 teams.

Oregon will have gone 3-1 against teams that were ranked at the time they played the game. None of those wins will have been against teams in the top 10 at time of the game.

Bama will have gone (assuming win over UGA, which is not a lock) 4-1 against teams ranked in the top 25 at teh time of the game - including 3-0 against teams in the top 10 at the time of the game.

Wasn't that bama's whole point of jumping Okie St to #2 last year?

Bama's loss last year was to the #1 team in the country, by 3, in OT, in a game they never trailed until the final play of the game. OSU's loss last year was to a 6-6 Iowa State team. You aren't comparing apples to apples here, dude.

Bama would still have 12 wins....Oregon would only have 11.

Bama didn't jump anybody. Okie St lost and Bama moved up to #2. Okie St was hoping to jump over Bama after their last regular season game.

Oregon played a dogshit out of conference schedule that will hurt them in the computers - and voters will pump up the Bama/UGA winner

Absolutely no chance of this IMO

A&M's 2 losses were to the #4 and #7 teams in the nation, while beating the #1 team in the nation.

Stanford's losses were to #1 ND and an UNRANKED Washington that barely finished over .500, while beating the #2 team in the nation.

Worse losses, worse win != better than A&M.

Only way Oregon goes over Bama is if Bama loses two more games.

Sorry but that's bullshite! A & M would beat the shite out of Stanford. In fact the top 6 SEC teams would all beat Stanford and Oregon.
