So he was willing to coach Ole Miss in their Bowl Game even after he was named LSU HC, but, he won't coach HIS OWN frickING TEAM in their Bowl Game? What a pussy.

Needs to get his organization in place and recruiting outweigh any benefit to coaching players right now plus you don't know who you will be coaching in the spring different QB and players..right now it's about signing top talent and retention
. They are in on ASU's Levitt for QB it will be a battle between Oregon and Indiana for him 2.5 million is the starting price

It's incredibly uncommon but does happen occasionally. Fickell coached the bowl game when he took the Wisconsin job.

This is not uncommon. I would much rather he be spending his time doing player evaluations in the portal.

I know the counter argument is wouldn’t he want to evaluate the current roster. He has already done that, so there is not much benefit

It's called projection.

LSU fanbase is always worried and always jealous of Bama and Georgia.

Therefore they assume everyone else suffers with the same.

We call this projection. When it comes to actions vs emotions, it's called wish-casting

Oh the sweet, sweet irony.
