your holier than thou act got stale a few years ago bud.

There's nothing about being holier than thou. I'm telling you your argument makes zero sense. You are basing your conclusion on '08 stats. That's it. Oh, and maybe a pick in the spring game vs. an All-American CB in Patrick Peterson.

How are you going to sit there and tell me that Shep and Garrett are the only hope this team has? Are you crazy? Two true freshmen with basically no experience whatosever?

What makes you think, THIS YEAR, why Lee shouldn't be given a shot. How do you know that he has not progressed in learning reads and defenses? Do you HONESTLY think he would throw the same amount of Pick 6's he did a year ago? Do you honeslty feel that that is a stat that happens every year to someone?

Those pick 6's were bad breaks. They INT's were not, but that's pretty much expected from freshmen. Some kids are the exception, not the rule. I'm sick of people basing their conclusions off of a freshman that has played football 3 years of his life. He didn't even start playing ball until his Jr. year in high school.

calm down bud, i agree he deserves a chance again if JJ can't produce. that being said in my opinion and based on what i've seen i doubt he ever succeeds at LSU. of course he should be better than last season, but will he be so much better that he becomes a long term solution? it's possible, but it's also very unlikely.

neither qb will take us where we need to be. Lee does not seem to be able to handle the pressure of live games very well and JJ just seems to be in neutral from the chik fil a bowl. either garett and shep are our only hopes or we need to depend on Zach Lee from the '10 class (though he may play pro baseball).

I am slowly awakening to this realization....

If I could recall one deep ball that was spot on that was thrown by JJ I would be on the JJ bandwagon still, but he is not a real QB in my eyes.

Not me.

You go from not playing until your Jr. year in HS to getting an offers from Arizona, Nebraska, Texas Tech, Ok. St. etc.

IMO, it speaks volumes for his ability and how quick he learns.

Did he just stop learning after last year? Lots of LSU fans think so.

Because to make that much improvement in not only your ability but your emotional stability and general approach to the game does not happen very often.
