Makes me wonder why Texas and OU wanted to join the SEC when literally the Red River Pillow Fight is the only "tough" game on the schedule...

Playing 1 ranked team a year in the regular season isn't going to help them in the long run. There will be less incentive to keep up in the arms race when you're kicking the shite out of everyone weekly (Nick Saban excluded). Less national exposure for your players (branding opportunities). There is no doubt that the cut-throat nature of the SEC is a big reason for the overall success of the league. Staying a top powerhouse will be a challenge if they're playing in a low energy conference. Ask me how I know

Missouri struggles versus OU but you think the Sooners have a problem. OU is 67-24-5 versus your team. You should worry about your own damn team as even Texas has a winning record against you. 18 - 6.

They’ve done pretty well against LSU, Auburn, Alabama and Georgia through recent history.
Say what?

Clemson would have maybe two playoff appearances if they played in the SEC.

Sooner than later, FSU will start playing football again, and kick Clemson’s arse on the regular.

Yup. Everything is cyclical. Like Rust said, "Time is a flat circle."

After 6 playoff appearances and 2 National titles you might want to rethink that.

UGA's beaten Clemson 6 of 7 last games, including the last time we played them in 2014, 45-21. Overall, UGA leads 42-18-4.
Yeah, Clemson's done pretty well against us. They won one game.
